From an important perspective, we can see life as a game.
One of contrasts and polarities, which include highs and lows.
Some say balance is key, balance is required, balance is inevitable, balance is natural.
Some say for every action, there will be an equal and opposite reaction.
But is that just a deception, an excuse and allowance for bad things to exist in the world unnecessarily?
Some believe love is the greater power and that love will conquer all.
But is this not still a power struggle, a potential disconnection from reality and a war for dominance?
Maybe... Maybe not.
A wise man once said there is a difference between that which is evil and that which is natural tragedy. He described evil as a conscious effort to cause unnecessary harm. But even to not cause but just to engage in and be apart of any unnecessary harm and destruction, consciously or unconsciously, does it make it ok?
Maybe... Maybe not.
Some believe that which is for us wants to bring about a harmonious heaven on earth through connection and love, while that which is against us wants to bring about a dysfunctional hell on earth through disconnection, power struggles, and fear.
Some believe we're all in the same game, just playing on different levels.
The same hell with different devil's.
The same heaven with different angels.
But life can be tricky and things aren't always as they seem.
Some devil's may come that at first seem like angels.
Some angels may come that at first seem like devils.
Sometimes there is no gain without pain.
Sometimes there is no enlightenment without venturing through darkness.
Time, experience and intuitive spiritual discernment helps to reveal what is actually helpful and what just really isn't.
I believe the trick to the game is to be fully where you are, to be there as honestly and as consciously as you know how, and to keep looking within.
If there is no devil on the inside, no devil on the outside can ever truly harm you.
The line separating good and evil passes through every human heart.
Some believe each human being has the unique ability to change where the power is coming from at any given time.
All it requires is a choice between living in love or living in fear.
Serving that which seeks to divide and conquer through fear and a struggle for power and dominance or serving that which seeks to connect and harmonize through living in love and humble service to the one and all.
If you lose and bring others down around you to lose, you lose.
If you win and others lose, you lose.
If you win and others win you win.
If you're required to make a sacrifice and lose while others win, you win.
But the question still remains - What does it mean to truly win? And what does it mean to truly lose?
